House Party Vol 4, 1st Birthday of Universal
Many thanks for the support everyone gave in coming down, helping out and raising funds/awareness for Huntington's Disease Association. We have managed to raise at least £300 which is double our last target, so many thanks this is greatly appreciated. Monies are still coming in from people who wanted to donate, so I will send out a final total in the next few weeks. Whilst fun was going on Awareness for Huntington's Disease Association was raised as many people hadn't heard of the illness so this was very pleasing too know. Visual publicity was also angled at raising people's awareness at being charitable to each other and this was taken on board in a good sense by all at
the party.

Universal 1st Bd -Madness on the dancefloor The event was Universal's 1st bd and was a great success, Darren Wall started off proceedings with a varied mix of rare funk, soul and disco jems. Darren created the perfect vibe for Benjamin Sebastian to play his deep sexy house grooves which lifted the dancefloor even more as the event started to rock in the early hours of the morning. As the party got into full swing, I myself Lee Gosnay carried on with a lively mix of upbeat music along with DJ Neo's outstanding scratching, He played with all the dj's throughout the event and was a big highlight for me personally and for many others too I am sure. I then played some deeper, darker electronic house music with added beats before dropping some disco grooves to give everyone a breather at 5am and even some drum & bass for the hardcore even later before levelling off with some classics!
